Bright, Bright Day is a small edition book made of Polaroid photographs made in Toronto, Chicago, and Ithaca, accompanied by text from the Dhammapda, an important Buddhist text. The book documents some personal trauma and healing found through relationships with my family. It is perfect bound, and printed on recycled Mohawk paper. Bright, Bright Day was printed in a small edition, but copies are still available. Please contact me directly if you are interested in seeing more of the book or getting a copy.
You are like a withered leaf, waiting for the
messenger of death. You are about to go on a long
journey, but you are unprepared. Light the
lamp within; strive hard to attain wisdom. Become
pure and innocent, and live in the world of light.

 Dhammapada
