PIECES OF MY SOLITUDE, PARIS 2007

These pictures were made over a period of four months, while working as an artist-in-residence at La Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Left alone, I explored the city, desire, art, and my determination to both mark and understand my presence using photography. The completed portfolio is accompanied by a poem by John Berryman, from The Dream Songs.
