WINTER NIGHTS (OR A WOLF AMONG WOLVES)

These photographs were all made in Ithaca, NY between 2010-2013. The subtitle, Wolf Among Wolves, references a Bonnie Prince Billy song:

She loves a soul that I have never been
Dog among dogs and a man among men
And every day, when I come home to her
She holds a phantom, yes, she kisses and she hughs him
And I am not averse to how she loves him
But why must I live and walk
Unloved as what I am?
