From Out of Darkness is a small, saddle-stitched zine composed of photographs I made or collected in Indonesian between 1992-2018. The pictures are accompanied by small bits of writing, little snippets looking at some the early decisions and motivations behind my initial trips to Bali. It is printed on Strathmore paper, with a cover made from a handmade black paper with small pieces of gold mixed into the paper pulp. From Out of Darkness ​is printed in a small edition, but a few copies remain.
