In November 2020, I participated in a panel discussion organized by Sosiologi14. The discussion was intended to be a look back my 2017 exhibition and publication, Identity Crisis: Reflections on Public and Private life in Contemporary Javanese Photography. Organized by Javanese writer and curator Aminudin TH Siregar, the discussion included moderator Ni Nyoman Vidhyasuri Utami, myself, and three of the artists included in the exhibition at the Johnson Museum - Wimo Ambala Bayang, Deden Durahman, and Arum Tresnaningtyas Dayuputri. Primarily conducted in Bahasa Indonesia, the discussion is available above or on YouTube.
In August 2020, I was invited by the Voice of America Indonesia to give an interview about my coming book on the history of photography in Indonesia. The interview is only available in Bahasa Indonesia, and is found here (pictured above, a Claire Holt research notebook from the Cornell Rare and Manuscript Collection).
