I am still working on book for Oxford University Press. I am about half way through the text, and plan on spending a day at the George Eastman House in Rochester later this week to begin gathering some of the historical images for illustration.
My most recent draft chapter is image transfers and lifts. In putting this together, I went back into my studio storage, and dug out this little book made during the 2003-04, during the height of the Iraq war and the run-up to the Bush-Kerry election. The book is all tape lifts pulled from daily newspapers. It was interesting to go back and look at these images again. I posted some more images and information about this book on one of my blogs.
