This past July, I was awarded a research grant from the American Institute for Indonesian Studies to pursue my work in Bali and Java. I will be spending close to three months in Indonesia, leaving in early 2014. I will be spending most of my time in Yogyakarta in Java, working at ISI Yogya, but will also be visiting universities and art academies in Denpasar and Bandung. I recently signed a contact with Oxford University Press to write a book on alternative processes in photography. The Book, Alternative Processes in Photography: Technique, History, and Creative Practice, is do for publication in 2016. In addition to the book, there will be an accompanying website.
